Once again, I’m back. I’ve been gone for almost six weeks and it’s been an adventure! I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, it’s very moving Bob (only 90’s kids who watched veggie tales will get that). Since I last posted, I’ve gone to Ireland, London, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and now I’m back in good ole B-Town! So I’ve been all over the world, been through A LOT of airports, and have lived out of a suitcase and now I don’t know what to do since I have a whole closet of clothes, and honestly I forgot I had half of these clothes. ANYWAYS, Ireland was awesome, a little chilly, a little wet, but so beautiful. I took a lot of pictures, but none of them do any of the views any justice. We’d just be riding along on the bus and we’d look up and we’d just gasp, it was gorgeous, new, and green. We went to a lot of amazing attractions, museums, and castles. My two favorite places we went was Giant’s Causeway on the North Coast and Tullymore Forest. Both of them were just an explorer’s paradise; there were rocks to scale, trees to climb, and old trails to find. I could talk and tell stories from Ireland for ever, in fact I have a 253 page journal filled with my stories from the trip that I will not be posting, retyping, or sharing, but all my stories are documented.
After the trip I spent six days in Edmond, Oklahoma with Caroline, a sweet friend from Link, and her family. We were so jet lagged and it took me the whole week to get over it, but it was so nice to get to relax, eat American food, and do fun family things again.
After my time there, I went home for a few days to see my family and just be with them, which was so needed. I got to hang out with my brother a lot which was a blast because we just know how to have fun together whether we’re playing call-of-duty or taking an impromptu trip to sonic for milkshakes at Midnight. Everything is an adventure and I loved getting to do things with him again.
But now I’m finally back at Link and I can see Spring on the horizon, it smells like home, and I cannot wait to maximize every moment of our last 8 weeks here.
